On the 73rd death anniversary of the founder of Pakistan Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on Saturday, social media users and the US embassy in the country poured tributes for the leader on Twitter.

Quoting Quaid e Azam, the US embassy in its tribute message tweeted: “No struggle can ever succeed without women participating side by side with men.”

A social media user said Jinnah was a “visionary leader”.

Another user lauded the leader for his advocacy for the education.

Sharing old pictures of the Jinnah printed in Dawn and Jang, a user said the efforts of the leader “made it possible that we live in an independent” country.

In his apologetic message to the leader, a social media user said the nation "failed to make you proud" and claimed that the "future generation will rise and Pakistan will become the richest country in the world."
