PTI Chairperson Imran Khan’s young fan, who had a meeting with the former prime minister, said he might auction the shirt having Khan’s autograph and donate money to the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre.

Abu Bakar was speaking in Aaj Pakistan, the morning show hosted by Sidra Iqbal, on Monday.

A video of the 9th grade student, a resident of Lakki Marwat, went viral on social media in which he was crying after he attended one of Khan’s rally but could not fulfill his wish of meeting his idol.

Abu Bakar told the host that ex-SAPM Shehbaz Gill arranged the meeting with Khan after his emotional video went viral on social media.

The teenager had a brief meeting with Imran, the video of which also went viral. Imran advised Abu Bakar to concentrate on his studies and expressed confidence that the passionate youth would achieve great things in the future.

Since the videos, the teenager has been offered millions of rupees to sell the shirt but he says he has no intention to sell.

In another video doing the rounds on social media, Abu Bakar said he was initially offered Rs10 million for the shirt which has Khan’s autograph but later the offer was raised to Rs60 million.

“You can give me all the wealth in the world but I will never sell this shirt,” he said.

In his meeting with Khan, Abu Bakar presented a ring with a Blue Sapphire (Neelum). “I received this ring five years ago from Afghanistan. At that time I decided to give it to Imran Khan whenever I would meet him.”

He gave the ring to Khan which the ex-PM immediately wore.
