Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai and her husband Asser Malik have wished a happy Eid to everyone, as Muslims around the world celebrate the festival with great zeal and joy.

In separate posts on Twitter and Instagram, the couple shared the message with their picture. Both of them wore the traditional Shalwar Kameez.

Malala tied the knot with her partner Malik on November 9 in Birmingham. She had shared the development in a tweet.

Reacting to the post, many users also wished the couple.

One of the users asked the couple to pray for the Afghan girls to go to school.

This user was of the view that the photo was a “huge contribution to filling the world with joy”.
