Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he is ready to forgive the dissident MNAs of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) if they rejoin the party.

Addressing a rally in Dargai Tehsil of Malakand on Sunday, the premier warned the dissident MNAs that they had made a mistake by taking bribe from the opposition.

He said that now due to social media the nation has become very much aware of politics, and that the whole nation was realizing that the MNAs had sold their conscience.

He warned the dissident members that they would not be able to attend public gatherings and that no one would accept what they say. "The title of conscience sellers will be attached with your name," the premier said adding that if he had to pay a bribe by bargaining for conscience he would curse such a government.

He further said that the youth of Dargai would support the party which has worked for the cause of Pakistan.

Mocking the opposition, he said that PML-N had imprisoned Asif Ali Zardari during its tenure, while PPP had also started corruption cases against PML-N.

He said that it was the PML-N which had dubbed Maulana Fazlur Rehman of JUI-F as "diesel" as he had accused the PPP of selling diesel permits with money.

Khan said that when a nation becomes morally corrupt, they stop working and they resort to corruption because it makes money easier.

PM lauds achievements of PTI-led government

Responding to the criticism of the opposition, the Prime Minister said that in the last three and a half years, the PTI-led government has done things for the betterment of the country which are unprecedented in the country.

The premier further lauded the achievements of his government and said that under his leadership the country had recovered itself from the deadly coronavirus pandemic on which the whole world appreciated Pakistan.

"Unfortunately, many media houses work only for money and some even accept foreign funding. I leave it up to the public to know which media houses stand with the thieves," he said.

'historic gathering' on March 27

The prime minister called on people to come out in numbers to attend the 'historic gathering' on March 27 at D-Chowk, Islamabad.

"Want all records to be broken of public attendance to fight for the soul of Pakistan," Khan wrote on Twitter early in the day adding that his party stand with what is right and condemned such shameless buying of politicians' souls.
