ISLAMABAD: Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar Awan, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leader and husband of PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has contracted coronavirus as his test returned positive Monday.
He has been admitted in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Sharif Medical City Hospital but his health is out of danger.
Safdar Awan caught flue and fever during the Gilgit Baltistan Elections 2020 campaign where his wife Maryam Nawaz Sharif is leading the PML-N campaign along with other party stalwarts.
